About the Portland Rossini Club: The Portland Rossini Club was founded by women in 1869 and is the longest surviving music club in the nation, according to the National Federation of Music Clubs, still holding its strictest musical standards,. It wasn’t until the late 1980s that men were accepted members. To express our love and understanding of music, our Active Members share their passion and hard work via performance on one Sunday afternoon per month. Music lovers of all ages near and far are always welcome!
